The fifth caliph of the Abbasi dynasty was the Caliph Harun al-Rashid. The Abbasids ruled the Islamic world for a long time, but only Haroon al-Rashid became famous. There was once a great famine in the time of Haroon al-Rashid. The effects of the famine began to be felt from Samarkand to Baghdad and from Kufa to Marakash. Haroon al-Rashid tried all measures to deal with the famine, he opened grain warehouses.
Tax waivers established government anchorages throughout the empire and mobilized all the princes and merchants to help the victims, but in spite of this the condition of the people did not improve. One night, Haroon al-Rashid was in a state of great distress. He couldn't sleep in the midst of this tension, he summoned his prime minister, Yahya bin Khalid. Yahya bin Khalid was also the teacher of Haroon Al-Rashid. He had trained the king from his childhood.
Caliph Haroon said to Yahya Khalid, "oh my teacher, tell me a story, a story that will peaceful for me."
Yahya ibn Khalid smiled and said, "King of peace, I have read a story in the life of a prophet of Allah." This story is the greatest and most brilliant interpretation of destiny and the pleasure of Allah. If you allow me, I will repeat that story to you".
The king said anxiously, "Sir, tell me immediately." My soul is stuck in my throat,
Yahya Khalid told. A sailor monkey, set sail for a forest. She had a child. She could not take the child with her, so she went to the lion and said, "Sir, you are the king of the forest. I am going on a journey. I want you to take care of my child. The lion was full of support. The monkey handed the baby to the lion, the lion sat on his shoulder and the monkey left for the journey. Now the lion sits the monkey on his shoulder daily and does his daily chores in the woods.
At some point while he was strolling in the wilderness, a hawk from the sky out of nowhere dyeed 'moved toward a lion' and raised a child kid and vanished into the sky. The lion escaped into the jungle but could not catch the eagle. 'Yahya Khaldarka' he breathed in and requested Caliph Haaron Al-Rashid, monkey returned a few days later to and demanded a baby from the tiger. The lion replied shyly, 'Your baby has taken the eagle'. The monkey asked in anger from the lion that, "How are you the king? You couldn't protect a truce" How would you run this whole forest system? " The lion sadly said by shooking his head that , "I am the king of the earth only not the sky."
If a disaster from the ground was moving towards your child, I would have stopped it, but the catastrophe came down from sky and only the sky could stop the disaster. Subsequent to recounting this story Yahya Khalid said to Haroon al-Rashid. Even if this disaster of King came out of the earth, you would have stopped it' This is the doom of heaven ' Only Allah can stop it, So don't be king to stop it "Become a beggar. This Disaster Will Stop".
There are two kinds of disasters in the world. Heavenly disasters and earthly disasters. Heavenly disaster requires the child to be pleased with God. Whereas for humans to be protected from ground disasters' full use of resources and sincerity of rulers is required. Yahya bin Khalid said to Haroon al-Rashid. Kingly heavenly calamities do not end until man pleases his Lord". As a king you will not be able to overcome this disaster. So you become beggar. Fall in the presence of Allah, "repent to Him" and seek His help. The only difference between all the world's problems and their solution is the distance between the forehead and the prayer but alas, we can go across the seven seas to solve our problems, but we cannot determine the distance between the forehead and the prayer.
