Before we discuss the nature of magazine journalism or compare it to other media and read the reasons for its popularity, let's start with the concept of magazine journalism. Publications published on a regular basis are called magazines, journals, or Magazines.

The magazine is an English alternative to the Arabic word "مخزن" which means "repository or storehouse". A repository means a place where there are treasures of valuables. In this sense, a magazine is a magazine or journal that publishes a variety of useful information.

A magazine is a private or public publication of the regular edition, it deals with a particular topic or various topics of general interest or entertainment and usually gives an example. There are almost all magazines, due to which they can pay the cost of production. The magazine is marketed, While there are others that are distributed for free.

Magazines differ from newspapers in their content because newspapers usually focus on daily news or events. Magazines provide a complete cure for a lot of problems that are developed while top-level entertainment, scientific, art film, children's, sports, fashion, political and economic analysis, among others.

Currently, with the last days of new technologies, he has created two events in the context of magazines: 

  1. The first task is to deal with the emergence and development of digital magazines. Which are not prepared on paper, Rather, the reader can read them online. 
  2. Second, magazine publishing and printing companies also offer digital versions. That gives the reader that option. There is an opportunity to choose whatever they like.

Magazines and journals have been of key importance in the context of scholarly and literary services in the countries. But in modern times, the advent of technology and the effects of inflation have hit this tradition hard and standard literary magazines and journals began to close.

2. Periodicals Journalism
