Science and Common Sense |
From the viewpoints science and common sense both are similar, which can be described that common sense is consider as series of concepts while science is systematic and controlled extension of common sense.
But these concepts and conceptual schemes may mislead the psychology and education. without any explanation, it was very clear to educators of the ancestor century. only common sense uses the tool named as punishment in pedagogy . now we need to discuss and provide evidences that commonsense as view of enthusiasm or reason for doing something is quite wrong.
These both common sense and science differ in five ways, these disagreements revolve around the words "controlled" and "systematic".
1. first, the use of theoretical structures and conceptual schemes are different. in theoretical structure we follow the someone else theories and follow their works without any changes in theirs theory. while conceptual is he development of the personal ideas by using them we develop our concepts to solve the specific problem. example serious versus loose fashion.
2. secondly, scientist systematically tests his theories and hypothesis (educational guess). example selection tendency.
3. thirdly, scientist tries systematically to role out variables that are possible causes of effects, the hypothesized variables to be the causes.
4. fourth, scientist constantly preoccupied with relations among existing things.
5. lastly, when scientist try to explain the relation of observed phenomena, and rules out what have been known metaphysical explanations (ME). ME is a simple proportion which can not be tested, which means that scientist and science both are not concerned with them.
