Meaning of research: Research is common parlance refers to the search for knowledge. It is a scientific and systematic search.

Definition of research: An intellectual activity which brings to light new knowledge or corrects previous errors and misconceptions and add in an orderly way to the existing corpus of knowledge (J.W.Best)

Objectives of research: The main aim of research is to find out the truth which is hidden and which has not been discovered yet.

Motivation in Research: answer the following question in comment box. "What makes people to undertake research?"
